SSA uses the Game Officials system to handle the assigning for all regular season and tournament games. If you are a certified referee and interested in refereeing at SSA, please follow the instructions below.
NEW GAME OFFICIALS ACCOUNT
Go to www.gameofficials.net and click on “New Official?”. Enter "1094" in the Group Number box and in the Access Code box. Click continue and compete the registration. Email your local area assignor (information below) once you have competed the registration or if you have any questions.
EXISTING GAME OFFICIALS ACCOUNT
Go to http://www.gameofficials.net">www.gameofficials.net and Login. Go to My Assignor and click on Join a New Group. Enter "1094" in the Group Number box and in the Access Code box. Click Join Group and email your local area assignor (information below) that you have joined our group.
ASSIGNMENTS
Referees are booked (5) days in advance. Each club referee should set his/her availability in Game Officials weekly or e-mail their ref assignor by Sunday of each week with your availability and any other restrictions in your schedule. Assignments are e-mailed by Wednesday. Please accept your assignment promptly in Game Official to confirm you are taking the assignment. GAME DAY EXPECTATIONS
At SSA we have an elevated game day expectations. These expectations include and incorporate our referees. Please click here to print out our game day referee expectations.
REFEREE PAYMENT
- Referees are paid monthly by check according to their Game Official assignment for regular season.
- It is the responsibility of the Center Referee to post the score of each of their games in Game Officials and list any assignment change(s).
- Any referee that makes a change to their assignment must contact the assignor within 24 hours.
- Referees contacted regarding cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled game time will not be paid for that particular match.
- SSA Tournaments pay officials by check. Checks are issues within one week after the tournament has been completed.

REFEREE CERTIFICATION
Below is a list of courses offered by the State of Georgia in cooperation with local clubs. There will be more information if any courses are offered in our area. We are always looking to increase the referee pool at SSA nd this is a great way to earn extra money. All courses and more details can be found at

- For New Referees the Entry (R9) Course is required
- For referees wanting to upgrade from R9 to R8 the Bridge course is required
- For recertifications the R9 & R8 Recertification course is needed
